Entries 238

We are only at Level 5 of the $235 NLH Black Chip Bounty and with the tournament clock already showing 238 entrants, we are expecting a huge turnout! We’ve spotted Patrick Tardif at the registration line of the $235 NLH Black Chip Bounty and were lucky enough to get a minute of his time before he starts his day full of action.

Tardif is a familiar face at Run It Up and hasn’t missed any of the last three series. He is about to join the field of the $235 NLH Black Chip Bounty and according to his history record in this tournament, he will be winning it, sorry guys!

”I love Run It Up. It’s probably the best poker series I’ve ever played. It’s super friendly, I love the atmosphere and everything about it. It is perfect. Today we have the $235 Bounty and historically I’ve done really well. I’ve final tabled it and I’ve got 12th, so that means I’m probably gonna win, I did the Math.”

But that’s not the only event he plans to crush today. He also got his eyes on the trophy of the $125 NLH Partners Event, as he is teaming up with Run It Up ambassador Arlie Shaban.

”And I’ve got the Partners event with Arlie Shaban. Pretty excited about that. The legend! That’s a power combo. We’re a power couple. We’re gonna do some work.”

Tardif’s been streaming lately and although it has its hardships, he loves it and does not plan to stop.

”I’ve been living the stream house life. Streaming is a very tiring aspect. Playing poker itself is exhausting but then always trying to be entertaining and explaining your thought process out loud, it can definitely takes its toll. A lot of the times after a 10-hour session, I will be brain dead and I can’t even hold a conversation. But I love it.”
