The second day of Run It Up Reno VII starts with one of the new events implemented for this series. Day 1 of the $440 Mini Main Event kicks off at noon and starts the busy second day of action.

The two-day event carries a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool and here are the details for the new event:

  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Day 1 is scheduled for 20, 30-minute levels, or until there are 16 players remaining
  • There are 15-minute breaks after levels 4, 8, and 16. There is a 60-minute dinner break after level 12
  • Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of level 13 (~7:30 p.m.)
  • This is a big blind ante event. The big blind is posted prior to the ante and the ante will become the size of the small blind when the table becomes four-handed
  • Players who survive the day will return on Sunday at 2 p.m. to play down to a winner

The Mini Main Event is just the start of the day’s action. There is a $125 Main Event satellite at 2 p.m. sandwiched between the start of the Mini Main Event and the start of the $125 six-max HORSE at 5 p.m.

The HORSE is a one-day event that starts at 5 p.m. and will play down to a winner before the end of the night. If you miss out on the HORSE, you can play the $165 Thursday Thrilla satellite at 7 p.m.

Away from the tournament area, there is a cash game hangout at 8 p.m. in the poker room where you can relax and play some cash games with fellow RIU warriors and some of the Team RIU streamers and pros.
