$125 Win the Button

Players are returning from their first break of the day and the field already smashed the $10,000 guarantee on the prize pool earlier in the day. There are already 214 entries in the field with about half of those still remaining, with about 40 minutes before registration closes for the day.

The field is filled with some of poker’s most prominent streamers and vloggers. Jesse Capps is in the field and recently joined that group with the kickoff of his new vlog series, his first episode titled ‘Starting Over’ was just released a couple days ago.

In his first episode, Capps laid out the past seven years he spent in the poker world and the ups and downs of his bankroll. He recently took a job dealing in Las Vegas and is trying to run his bankroll back up to where it used to be after a deep run in a major tournament series in Oklahoma.

He’s taking his first shot at, no pun intended, running it up, at the RIU series here at the Peppermill. He just missed out on a cash in the $235 8-Game championship, an event that he won last year and is building a stack in the Win the Button format while videoing most of his hands along the way.

He’s chipped up to 15,000 from his 10,000 starting stack after late registering the event.
