This evening’s event is a no-limit hold’em event with a bit of a twist. Win the pot and you’ll win the button. The $125 no-limit hold’em win the button tournament starts at 5 p.m. and hopefully you’re not two to the left of someone on a heater.
Everybody will start with 10,000 in tournament chips and there are 20-minute levels throughout the duration of the tournament. There are 10-minute breaks after every six levels with registration and unlimited re-entries until the start of level 9.
In the case of a chopped pot, the player with the worst position will win the button. Other than the twist about where the button goes on the next hand, the tournament is run like any other no-limit hold’em tournament with about 16% of the field finishing in the money.
