Since Day 1A reached the 20% + 1 player mark with eight minutes remaining in level 13, Day 1B followed suit. The second and final starting flight of the $600 no-limit hold’em main event drew 374 entries, bringing the overall field size 687 and generating a prize pool of $377,850.

With the conclusion of Day 1B, that closes registration and finalizes the prize pool. The payouts are being calculated overnight and will be released in the morning.

There were 97 players that made it through Day 1B with Kyle Besaw leading the way. Besan bagged up 327,600 in chips and will start Day 2 second in chips behind Day 1A chip leader Dylan Hortin.

Derek Gomez (285,000), Chris Moneymaker (266,500), Cosmin Joldis (241,700) and Chris Lindner (216,700) rounds out the top five Day 1B chip counts. Other notables to survive the day include Kevin Gerhart (130,200), Brandon Carl (127,900), Jimmy Cappucci (119,600), Charlie Ciresi (116,100), Matt Stout (102,300), Stephen Song (91,100), Arlie Shaban (70,900), Brent Harrington (55,100), Hayden Fortini (31,000) and Ricky Guan (25,000).

Not everybody was fortunate enough to make it through the day with plenty of talented players hitting the rail before the day’s end. Ricky Guan, Jasthi Kumar, and Vincent Moscati are just a couple of the talented players that were eliminated before the final hand of the day.

With the 91 players that made it through Day 1B, there are 154 players that are returning for Day 2, which will get underway at noon on Sunday. Day 2 will be live streamed for the entire day, with rotating feature tables all day long and the entire final table. It will be streamed on a delay as they play into the money and down to a winner on Sunday night.
