The $125 6-Max Short Deck NLH Starts at 5 p.m.

The first ever Short Deck NLH tournament at Run It Up Reno kicks off at 5 p.m!

It’s a fast, fun variation of your basic No-Limit Hold’em game! All cards 2-5 will be removed from the deck. This event is Ante Only. The player on the button will post a second ante. The preflop action will start to the left of the button and players will have the option to call the addition ante, raise or fold. The rules of this tournament are the same as any NLH tournament except that flushes beat full houses, and A-6-7-8-9- makes a straight.

Here are the details of the event:

• This is a one-day event. A winner will be crowned tonight.
• Players begin with 10,000 in tournament chips.
• Levels will be of 20 minutes.
• There will be a 10-minute break at the completion of every six levels
• Registration and re-entries through Level 9.
• Approximately 16% of the field will cash.
