$150 Six-Max PLO KO
Level 3: 100/200
Total Entries: 103
Players Remaining: 82
Albert Ng is one of the 103 entries in the $150 six-max pot-limit Omaha knockout event. He’s a regular at Run It Up Reno stops and found lots of success at the tables, having already taken home two RIU trophies. He proved his PLO prowess last Spring when he won the $235 buy-in in this same event.
Ng is one of the many returning RIU warriors, but he also brings arguably RIU’s most loyal railbird, his dog. ‘Chewy’ is such a staple of Run It Up Reno that there are players throughout the tournament area with ‘Team Chewy’ patches.
The patches were made after Ng’s girlfriend, Melissa Wang, had a five-figure score. She decided to have the patches made and they filtered their way through the poker world and onto the sleeves of many RIU warriors.

“I just wanted to wear my dog and have him with me all the time,” said Wang with a laugh.
The four-year-old Chow Chow is beloved by the poker community, both in Reno and around the rest of the Northern California poker scene. Last spring, he arguably stole the spotlight from his owner after hopping into Ng’s winner’s photo in the $235 six-max PLO bounty event.

Chewy has been to all but one of the RIU Reno series. And with his owners being as skilled as they are, it’s likely he’ll make an appearance into another winner photo or two.
