The room is packed with players and we’ve somehow spotted Jon Turner and his girlfriend Leyla Rogers seated not only at the same table, but also next to each other.
”We were shocked. I bought in yesterday before I went to bed, and he bought in a couple of hours before me. He randomly asked me which table I got when he got to the room. I told him 51/7. He laughed and said it was impossible. He was in 51/6,” commented Rogers.
That didn’t last long though, as Turner was soon eliminated in a cooler and we were able to catch the action.
The player in middle position opened to 300. The hijack called and Turner, on the button, three-bet to 1,200. The original raiser four-bet to 3,100. The hijack folded and Turner moved all in for around 8,900. His opponent quickly called and the cards were tabled.
