The members of Run It Up are apparently shootout experts! Jimmy Cappucci and Kevin Martin are both still in the tournament. However, they are battling it out at the same table, so only one of them can make it to the third and final round.

Cappucci is a cornerstone of Run It Up in many ways. Not only does he crush RIU tournaments, but he also works in the IT department out of the Las Vegas office. He has three RIU trophies in the bag and took home his last trophy just last spring. He took down the $1,100 Thursday Thrilla for $18,680. He currently sits on 43,000 in chips in the shootout.

RIU ambassador Kevin Martin is still in as well with around 32,000. Martin, who represents the company, already has nine cashes at Run It Up Reno stops within the last two years.

Joe Wegner (pictured) won his first table, but just busted a little while ago for a min-cash. Like Cappucci, Wegner spends a good chunk of time in the Las Vegas office, working in the finance department of the company. Although he rarely plays, when he does, it’s game on. He has five cashes on his tournament resume.

Ricky Guan, one of the latest additions to the team, min-cashed the event as well. It is his first Run It Up series and he is not wasting time. He secured an RIU trophy within the first three days of the series, after winning the $125 Partners Event with Brian Sherrier for $2,810.

With 26 players remaining, the second round is winding down. The winners of their respective tables will have a seat at the final table and a shot at the latest trophy of the series and the $10,000 first place prize money.
