$440 Mini Main Event
Level 19: 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 BB ante
Players Remaining: 16 of 262

With 21:48 remaining in level 19, the 262-entry field in the $440 Mini Main Event was trimmed down to its final 16 players. When they reached the final 16 players, they paused the clock, redrew for seats at the final two tables and bagged up for the night.

Dick Hanley (pictured) and Kevin Gerhart were neck-and-neck for the chip lead at the end of the night, but it was Hanley who edged out Gerhart for the lead and will come back on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the biggest stack. Hanley started his run to the top of the counts when he burst the bubble when he called a 2.5 big blind shove from the big blind with queen-four and flopped trips against his opponent’s ace-jack. That guaranteed the final 40 players at least $825 and started his ascension to the top. Hanley bagged up 907,000, while Gerhart will come back with 890,000.

Other notables still in the field include Team RIU pros Matt Staples and Ben Spragg, as well Team PokerStars online pro Felix Schneiders.

When cards get back in the air, everybody remaining is guaranteed a cash of at least $1,200, but the eventual winner will leave with $22,000. Here is how the chips will be distributed on Sunday when play resumes:
