$125 HORSE
Level 3: 150/300 Limits
Total Entries: 104

Heading into the third level of the first mixed event of the series, there are already 104 entries in the field, which already surpasses the $10,000 guarantee put on the $125 HORSE prize pool.

The field is full of mixed games enthusiasts, but one player, in particular, traveled quite a long way to put his mixed game skills on display here in Reno. Adam Owen, a 25-year-old poker pro, made his way to Reno from Folkstone, England.

Owen sports an impressive resume at just 25. He’s already earned over $3 million in live earnings while adding another seven-figures from his online grind. Over the course of his short American live career, he’s got five World Series of Poker final tables, three of which come in non-hold’em events. Just this past summer, he final tabled the $1,500 Razz event and finished third for $52,536.

That was just two months after he proved his no-limit hold’em prowess with a second-place finish in the PartyPoker Millions Barcelona Grand Final for over $1.6 million. He’s playing for much less in the $125 HORSE, but that is sort of the point. The event is more about having fun at the table and that’s exactly what he’s doing.

“I’ve been watching a lot of Twitch lately and I got excited about this stop,” said Owen. “I am really enjoying the resort. It’s really nice and everybody is having a good time. I love it.”

He is currently sitting with just over a 10,000 starting-chip stack and a favorite in the HORSE to pick up his first-ever Run It Up Reno cash.
