The seventh installment of the Run It Up Reno gets underway in just a few weeks and it’s shaping up to be the biggest, but more importantly, the most fun series in the history of the event. The upcoming series, running from October 19-29, has all the staple events that you’ve come to enjoy at the Peppermill both on and off the felt.

Just like in previous years, there will be the Turkey Burger Welcome Party, the Cash Game Hangout, the $1,100 Thursday Thrilla (with $500 bounties), the $600 Main Event and all the small stakes mixed games you could ask for.

But this year there will be some new additions to the schedule that loyal RIU warriors are sure to enjoy.

Most importantly, don’t miss one of the ways to take home a PokerStars Platinum Pass. You can win one by taking down the $86 Moneymaker Spectacular or by winning one in the Platinum Pass freeroll on the final day of the series. There are numerous ways to get yourself into that freeroll, which will put you in the mix for a package valued at $30,000.

There are plenty of new events hitting the schedule this time around. Most notably, two events that nearly bookend the schedule. The $440 no-limit hold’em Mini Main Event gets underway on the second day of the series and the $550 six-max pot-limit Omaha Championship event kicks off on the final Sunday.

For this series, Run It Up is going to stay in touch with its roots. Those roots are deeply entrenched in Twitch, so we will be live streaming the action for certain events on RunItUp.TV. For the selected events, there will be featured tables selected throughout the day for a cards-exposed live stream, culminating in the stream of the final table.

Day 2 of the $440 Mini Main Event, the $235 six-max no-limit hold’em shootout, the $86 Moneymaker Spectacular, the $235 six-max eight-game, Day 2 of the $600 Main Event and the Platinum Pass freeroll will all be a part of the streaming festivities.

There are a couple of new social events as well. Last stop, there were several cash game hangouts focused on 8-game or two card games. This time we are including a rake-free Taiwanese poker cash game hangout on Sunday, October 21.

With the Team RIU family continuing to grow and Run it Up Reno live series becoming more prominent, there will be an official streamer Q & A and meet and greet on Friday, October 26. There will also be a Platinum Pass scavenger hunt on Monday, October 22 which will give three players seats into the Platinum Pass freeroll at the end of the series.

Don’t forget to look at the complete schedule that details the entire 11-day series and the more than $550,000 in guaranteed prize pools. Use the code ‘RIURENO’ when booking rooms at the Peppermill for the RIU discounted rate.
