With 82 players left and 80 making the money, the Capri Ballroom was full of chaos!

First, Sean Morton was all in with ace-queen against Jesse Capps’ pocket sevens and spiked an ace. Next, Lex Veldhuis lost most of his stack to ace-deuce, blind vs blind, after calling a limp-shove with pocket jacks. His opponent backed into a flush with the deuce of spades, but he recovered a little bit after doubling with ace-ten vs ace-king.

Over on another table, Sarah Kenyon was down to just two big blinds and felt the pressure on the bubble. Kim Stone shoved on the button and she flashed an ace in the big blind to hopefully survive another hand. She folded a few more hands but got her last few chips in with ace-five. Unfortunately for her, Stone held ace-queen. Ian Steinman said, “You have six-and-a-half people rooting for you. Five-ball!” The board brought both an ace and a queen and Kenyon was eliminated in 82nd place.

In the next hand, Chris Moneymaker raised to 14,000 from late position and Hyde Healey moved all in for 6,500 from the cutoff. The player in the big blind tank-called.

The flop came [ks,jh,3d] and both the big blind and Moneymaker checked to the [qc] on the turn. The big blind checked, Moneymaker bet 15,000 and the big blind folded. “Sorry sir” said Moneymaker to Healey, tabling [as,tc] for the nuts. Healey tabled [ac,kc] for a pair of kings and a draw to a chop, but the river was the [7s] and he was eliminated on the bubble.

All remaining players are now in the money, guaranteed $920.
