Registration has just closed in the $235 6-Max 8-Game Championship and a record-breaking field has been set last minute, with the tournament clock showing 122 entries, surpassing last October’s record field of 120 entries. The $20,000 guarantee prize pool has been nailed as well, with all the players trying to claim their share of it.
Among those spotted in action is our leader Jason Somerville, who already has a second place finish this series, after getting 2nd in the $125 6-Max H.O.R.S.E last night.
Jaime Staples, last October’s runner-up of this event, is also in the field, along with RIU trophy winners Jimmy Cappucci, Chip Tutu and Jason Daniele.
