We started the day off with the $235 NLH Kickoff and came ever so close to breaking the record of 211 entries with 209! Where are Pete Mall’s extra bullets when we need them?! The final prize pool came to $40,546 plus we gave away FIVE seats to the Main Event to the top five, including the Last RIU Warrior standing contest. Camilo Uribe went wire-to-wire and won the whole thing outright, pocketing $10,726 for himself.

The day continued with a Main Event satellite, and of course the Turkey Burger Welcome Party! The line stretched from one end of Sorrento to the other end at the bar, with Turkey Burger creations galore. Our very own live reporter Steve Schult even tried a turkey burger for the first time in his life, and we’re pretty sure he’s hooked now!

After dinner is where the craziness began with the $125 NLH All In or Fold tournament. While the Kickoff players were focused on making that elusive final table, the AIOF players were on their feet and making noise with thrilling hands from table-to-table. Our own Jesse Fullen even found himself in a position to triple up with pocket kings against ace-king and ace-queen. Unfortunately for him, the flop brought both remaining aces in the deck and he headed to the rail.

The final table was stacked after Jeff Gross basically bubbled in 11th place, filled with the likes of Team PokerStars Pro Kevin Martin (7th), Twitch Streamer Nadia ‘KaboomPoker’ Wanzi (4th) and Raiser Clothing CEO Wes Cutshall (2nd). RIU trophy winner Patrick Preston found himself heads-up for his second title against Wes and got the job done. The key hand was when Patrick got it in with king-ten of hearts against Wes’ king-six off-suit. The board ran out clean and Patrick got it done a few hands later.
