Jordan Spurlin and Jeff Chapman took a quick break after the elimination of Cheng Lu and it didn’t take long before the two players got their chips in the middle in 5-Card PLO.
Chapman was the player at risk with [kdkcth8c2d] with a couple of kings, up against Spurlin’s [ahadqcts4h].
The flop came [as9h5h] and Spurlin took a stranglehold on the hand with top set. The turn was the [3c] and Chapman was left drawing dead to the [qd] on the river.
Chapman takes home $1,490 for his runner-up finish and Spurlin has joined the two-time trophy club after taking down the 8-Game Championship last October.
