The flop came [9s5d2h] and Leonis remained ahead with ace-ten high. The turn, however, was the [7c] to give Staples the lead with a pair of sevens. The river was the [qs] and Staples doubled up. Leonis was left with less than half of an ante and was forced all-in in the next hand. He ended up with eight-high and couldn’t improve to stay alive. He settles for 6th place.
