With about 300,000 in the pot, on a board reading [7c][2c][2h], Andy Pokrivnak led out for 75,000 from the hijack. Scott Hoffer was on the button and shoved for 225,000. Pokrivnak went into the tank for several minutes and eventually called.
Hoffer tabled two eights, up against Pokrivnak’s pocket threes. The turn was the [Jd] and the river was the [Ac] to give Hoffer a massive double to take over the chip lead.
